Career Assistants introduce career development to students, assist students in finding/using resources, co-presenting study breaks and workshops, staff our main office, and more. Career Assistants must advise and interact with students in the office including providing the initial resume and cover letter reviews (topics covered in training) and handle some general office duties (answering phones, scheduling appointments in Google Calendar, photocopying, preparing mailings, distributing flyers and other printed materials, etc.). In addition, Career Assistants sometimes serve as CDO representatives during evening employer/graduate school information sessions and other special events.
