The CDO and the Vassar Club of NY co-sponsor alumnae/i career panels on a variety of topics, including publishing; advertising, marketing, and public relations; entreprenuership; finance, and more.

Employer Information Sessions · 

The CDO regularly sponsors information sessions from a variety of organizations who want to recruit Vassar students. Previous employers who have held information sessions include: Teach for America, Brattle Group, Carney, Sandoe, and Associates, Peace Corps, Morningstar, Inc., US Department of State, JET, and many more.

The CDO regularly sponsors information tables from a variety of organizations who want to recruit Vassar students. These tables typically occur in the College Center North Atrium.

Fall Recruiting Consortium (FRC) · 

The Fall Recruiting Consortium brings together students from Vassar, Bowdoin, Swarthmore, Sarah Lawrence and Wesleyan Colleges for a day of interviews in New York City with a variety of organizations. This year, the event will be held on Friday, October 28, 2011. For consideration, students must apply by 11:59 pm (EST) on Monday, October 3, 2011.

Graduate and Professional School Day · 

Each September, the office hosts a Graduate and Professional School Day. Students have the opportunity to talk with admission representatives from over 60 graduate, law and medical school programs.

SLAC Off-campus Recruiting Days · 

The Selective Liberal Arts Consortium offers the opportunity for employers to interview bright, talented students from 14 of the nation’s most selective and competitive liberal arts colleges. They sponsor regional Interview Days for permanent positions and internships held annually in the following cities: Boston, Chicago, New York, Washington DC and San Francisco.
2011-2012 dates are as follows:

Chicago: Friday, December 2, 2011
New York: Thursday, January 5, 2012
Boston: Friday, January 6, 2012
Washington, DC: Monday, January 9, 2012
San Francisco: Friday, January 13, 2012
